Armed with a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, specializing in biology, she commenced her career as a wildlife rehabilitator at the Alberta Institute for Wildlife Conservation. Robin is skilled in environmental assessment, serving as a project manager for Golder Associates Ltd. for nearly a decade on multimillion dollar resource applications. In this role, she adeptly managed large-scale regulatory applications for mining and in-situ clients, earning acclaim as the consulting project manager for the Imperial Kearl Oil Sands Joint Review Panel Hearing. Joining Teck Resources Limited in 2013, Robin's impactful contributions extended to overseeing public land files, managing exploration applications, and excelling in Indigenous Affairs, notably managing the consultation adequacy submission and the Joint Review Panel Hearing for the Frontier Oil Sands Project, including an unprecedented in-community hearing with Indigenous cultural considerations in the remote northern community of Fort Chipewyan.
