Karim brings over 18 years of experience in applied sustainability and business leadership. He has experience and expertise in a variety of disciplines, including sustainability management and reporting, regulatory compliance and approvals, stakeholder and Indigenous engagement, and government relations. Karim is an open-minded leader and takes a pragmatic approach to problem-solving. Karim holds an Executive Master of Business Administration from the University of Calgary and a Master of Environmental Studies from York University in which he concentrated his studies on sustainability. He holds the Fundamentals in Sustainable Accounting Level I, is studying for his Fundamentals in Sustainability Accounting Level II, and will be completing his Global ESG Competent Boards Certificate and Designation in February 2022.
