Hans is a strategic collaborator with over 17 years of practical expertise in sustainability leadership and business advisory. Hans has deep expertise and content knowledge in ESG/sustainability strategy development and implementation, risk management, management systems, climate change strategy and policy, environmental reporting, and non-financial assurance, combined with training and education in business and environmental science. In his professional career, Hans has held various roles in global professional services firms, public companies, and higher education, both as a leader and team member. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Literature, a Bachelor of Commerce, a Master of Environmental Design from the University of Calgary. He is currently studying for the SASB Fundamentals in Sustainability Accounting Level I designation.
