Brian is a Principal Consultant who brings over 15 years of cross-functional experience in large CAPEX project delivery focused on performance measurement, risk management, and market development. He has led and supported teams in the United States, Australia, and the Middle East in the Nuclear and Environmental, Mining, and Energy sectors. Brian uses a data-driven and risk-based approach to quantify and communicate impacts, develop strategy, and incorporate solutions. His experience and diverse background have provided an appreciation for responsible and sustainable business that drives him to help clients find opportunities to operationalize ESG and mitigate non-technical risks across the business enterprise.
More recently, Brian has worked to incorporate ESG and Sustainability to optimizing operational efficiencies and generating enterprise value with his clients. His objective is to craft tailored frameworks and strategies that integrate sustainability measures aligned with organizational and stakeholder expectations. His core competencies encompass ESG and sustainability program management, strategic planning, materiality and risk assessments, reporting, and due diligence. He is a certified independent lead assessor for Equitable Origin and a Towards Sustainable Mining (TSM) verifier. Additionally, he has completed training and attained his certificate as an ISO 14001 lead auditor. Continuing his commitment to professional development, Brian will complete a Master of Sustainability Leadership degree in April 2024, further enhancing his ability to drive impactful change and innovation within the sustainability landscape.
